Eula Mae Cravens Watson, 66, Casey County, KY (1950-2017)

She was a homemaker and attended Willow Springs Methodist Church. Eula Mae was a mother of all the children in the neighborhood and enjoyed sewing. She was the daughter of the late Don & Ruth Hendricks Cravens. Her husband of 48 years, Larry Watson, survives. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Eula Mae Cravens Watson, 66, of Liberty, KY passed away Friday, January, 13, 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Funeral services are at 10amCT/11amCT, Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY with Bro. Johnny Maupin and Bro. David Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, at the funeral home and will continue Tuesday from 7am-10amCT/8am-11amET.



Eula Mae Craven Watson, 66, Casey County, KY (1950-2017)


Born March 3, 1950 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Don & Ruth Hendricks Cravens. She died Friday, January 13, 2017, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 10 months, and 10 days.

She was a homemaker and attended Willow Springs Methodist Church. Eula Mae was a mother of all the children in the neighborhood and enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Watson, whom she married June 1, 1968, and the following:
  • A son: Eugene (and Paula) Watson of Liberty, KY

  • Daughter: Renita Watson of Liberty, KY

  • Two granddaughters: Alice Hayes and Hannah Salyers

  • Two great-granddaughters: Nyla Dunlap and Natalie Jewell

  • A brother: Timmy "Tiny" Cravens of Liberty, KY

  • Two sisters: Donna (and Gurvis) Buis of Liberty, KY; and Mary Katherine (and Dean) Sneed of Yosemite, KY
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Watson; two brothers, William and Willard Cravens; and a sister, Nancy Hines.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to offset funeral cost.
