She was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Church of Christ. She was a native of Liberty, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Richard & Hazel Esther McQueary Wheeler. She leaves 10 direct living descendants.

Orpha Lee Hreha, age 88, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Liberty Care Center in Liberty.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, on Monday January 16, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will be in the Rich Hill Cemetery in Casey County. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Sunday January 15, 2017 and after 7amCT/8pmET, on Monday January 16, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

She was born in Liberty, KY on December 8, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Richard & Hazel Esther McQueary Wheeler. She died Thursday, January 12, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 88 years, one month, and four days.

She was a housewife and a member of Liberty Church of Christ.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Michael Hreha of Harrodsburg, KY; and Tommy and (Brenda) Hreha of Stanford, KY

  • One daughter: Karen and (Ronnie) Luttrell of Liberty, KY

  • Three grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One brother: Oval Wheeler of Liberty, KY

  • Three sisters: Roxie Rice of Middleburg, KY; Violet Smith of Stanford, KY; and Naomi Goodman of Liberty, KY
Besides her parents Orphra was preceded in death by three brothers: Riley, Denver and Hobert Buel Wheeler.
