Michael G. (Mike) McMahan, 63, Taylor Co., KY (1953-2017)

He was a former electrician and was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.

Mr. Michael Glynn "Mike" McMahan, the son of the late Ernest and Virginia Coakley McMahan, was born April 29, 1953 in Campbellsville and departed this life on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home. He was 63 years of age.

A private graveside service will be held in the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Highway 208, Lebanon, KY, with full Military Rites by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard. There will be no visitation.



He was a former electrician and was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Sharon.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Karis McMahan and Lindsey McMahan both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two brothers: Richard McMahan of Campbellsville, KY; and Steve McMahan and wife Nancy of Carrollton, KY

  • A sister: Karen Eggert and husband Steve of Virginia

  • Two grandchildren: Aidan McMahan and Dalton Reynolds and a host of other relatives and friends.
