Mr. Wilburn Edward Rogers of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Arvist Rogers and Maerine Patterson Rogers was born on June 17, 1945 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Dawson Springs Health & Rehab Center. He was 71 years and six months of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Wilburn Edward Rogers was conducted at 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY with burial in the Lee Cemetery. Victor Matney officiated Visitation was after 10amCT,, Tuesday until time of the funeral service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.

Mr. Wilburn Edward Rogers of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Arvist Rogers and Maerine Patterson Rogers, was born on June 17, 1945 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Dawson Springs Health & Rehab Center, Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, KY. He was 71 years and six months of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Greasy Creek Baptist Church. He was also a former sewing machine mechanic for Fruit of the Loom, Inc.

Survivors include:
  • Three daughters and a son-in-law: Kim Rogers Losch and Kenny Losch of Campbellsville, KY; Sherry Barnes, and Tonya Barnes both of Indiana

  • Two sons: Gary Rogers of Indiana and Chris Rogers of Virginia
  • Fourteen grandchildren
  • Three great-grandchildren

  • Two sisters and brothers-in-law: Jean and Toad Milby of Gabe, Rita and Donnie Houk of Green County, KY

  • A brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Linda Rogers of Green County, KY

  • and a host of other relatives and friends
