Mrs. Sherry Brock Wolford, 46, Taylor Co., KY (1970-2016)

Mrs. Wolford professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. She was a manager for Dollar Tree in Campbellsville, KY, and was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and wife. Her husband, Cody Wolford, survives. She leaves two direct and two step living descendants and many close family members and close friends, in Taylor, Adair, and Russell Counties, KY, and elsewheter

Mrs. Sherry Brock Wolford, 46, departed this life on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, KY, after a sudden illness.

There will be a celebration of Mrs. Wolford's life on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. The family will receive friends after 3pmCT/4pmET with a prayer service conducted at 6pmCT/7pmET. After the prayer, the family will share memories and stories with all in attendance. At the request of Mrs. Brock, cremation rites will be accorded her after the service.

Mrs. Sherry Brock Wolford of was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, on December 7, 1970. She was the daughter of Gilbert Brock and the late Ruth (Blythe) Brock. She departed this life on Friday, December 23, 2016 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 46 years and 16 days.

Mrs. Wolford professed faith in Christ and was of the Catholic faith. She was a manager for Dollar Tree in Campbellsville, KY, and was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and wife.

She leaves to cherish her memory:
  • Her husband: Cody Wolford of Campbellsville, KY

  • One son and one daughter: Cody Brock Wolford and Cameo Blythe Wolford, both of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her father and stepmother: Gilbert and Barbara Brock of Columbia,

  • Two step-children: Ash Wolford of Russell Springs, KY; and Nicole Wolford of Columbia, KY

  • Three siblings: Phyllis Hansel and husband David of Columbia, KY; Lisa Ford of Campbellsville, KY; and Ray Brock and wife Jennifer of Columbia, KY

  • Two step-sisters: Lesa Nimmie and husband Daniel and Tammy McHorter and husband Troy, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nieces and nephews: Jesica Conover, Jon Hansel, Spencer Hansel, Ryan Ford, Cooper Brock, Broady Brock, Jeremy Wolford, Shay Wolford, Lejano Zavalija, Leslie Wolford, Austin Wolford, Brinley Wolford, Brandy Bowe, Brittany Merrith, Kayla Holmes, Tiara Holmes, Trevor McHorter, Chelsea Nimmie, Kirsten Nimmie, and Jacob Nimmie,

  • Great nephews: Hudson Conover, Jackson Conover, and Jace Nimmie

  • Close family friends: Rick and Suzanne Rogers of Columbia, KY

  • And a host of other friends and relatives.
