State ABC issues 11th ABC license in Cumberland Co.

Hot Rod BBQ & Grill is latest location to be issued a malt beverage package store license since the vote to end Prohibition in the county on 28 Jun 2016.

The the 11th ABC License has been issued in Cumberland County, KY. Wednesday, December 22, 2016, an NQ Retail Malt Beverage Package License was issued to:
  • Hot Rod BBQ & Grill at 3850 Celina Road, Burkesville, KY, store partner James Pruit, on real estate owned by James Pruitt.
The effective date of the licenses is December 22, 2016, but the start of sales has not yet been announced.

Cumberland County voted to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages on 28 June 2016. (Cumberland Co. Wet/Dry Vote 28 Jun 2016 precinct totals) by a vote of 1441-1062.
