Nora Veachel Ferguson (Holland), Knob Lick, KY (1933-2016)

She was a homemaker and the matriarch of a respected North Metcalfe family. She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Vennie Parrigan Holland, and the widow of W.C. Ferguson. She leaves eight direct living descendants.

Nora Veachel Ferguson age 83 of Knob Lick passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016 at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Monday, December 19, 2016, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pmCT until 8pmCT Sunday, December 18, 2016, and after 9amCT, Monday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Sherman and Vennie Parrigan Holland. She was born January 27, 1933. She died December 15, 2016, in Edmonton, Metcalfe County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 18 days.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by:
  • Two sons: Calvin Ferguson of Edmontonm KY; and Hubart "Bo" Ferguson and wife Margaret of Knob Lick, KY

  • One daughter: Serrelda Ferguson of Knob Lick, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Tyler Ferguson, Josh Ferguson and David Robertson

  • Two great grandchildren. Hunter and Haley Robertson
Besides her parents, Nora was preceded in death by her husband, W.C. Ferguson; and a son, Sherman Ferguson.
