Shirley Coffey Holt, 83, Adair Co., KY (1933-2016) She was a member of an outstanding Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Holland & Zelma Morrison Coffey and the widow of Orvil Holt. She leaves six direct living descendants. She had professed her faith at a young age and was a faithful member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a graduate of Columbia High School, Lindsey Wilson College and the University of Louisville. She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 38 years in Jefferson and Adair Counties. After retirement she subbed for many years at John Adair Intermediate School. She was a member of the Club 92 Homemakers for 30+ years. She loved reading and was a member of the Book Club at the Adair County Public Library.
