COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team opened up the Lindsey Wilson Christmas Classic with a 95-69 victory over Kentucky Christian Friday, December 16, 2016 at Biggers Sports Center.



Four Blue Raiders (9-5) were in double figures led by Charles Sutton's 23. Allen Costley scored a career-high 22 points on 10-of-12 shooting. Dmitry Utolin chipped in with 13 points and Bryan Wallace had 10. DJ Lambert just missed out on a triple double finishing with eight points, a career-high nine assists and 10 rebounds.

Lindsey Wilson shot 65.1 percent from the field and limited the Knights (4-9) to just a 36.5 shooting percentage. The Blue Raiders controlled the battle in the paint outscoring Kentucky Christian 68-14.

Lindsey Wilson jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first half. The Blue Raiders later went on a 12-0 run to take a 19-5 lead with 12:08 to go in the first half. Lindsey Wilson led 43-34 at the half shooting 63.3 percent from the field.

The Blue Raiders used a 9-0 run in the second half to take a 63-43 lead with 12:31 remaining in the second half. Costley scored 17 points in the second half. Lindsey Wilson shot 66.7 in the second half.

Nick Miller and Trenton Walker combined for 52 of Kentucky Christian's 69 points.
