Park City man arrested following pursuit, use of deflators Chase starts on KY 90 in Summer Shade, Metcalfe Co. Ends in Cumberland County, with arrest. Driver lodged in Adair County Regional Jail facing several allegations. Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY BURKESVILLE, KY (Wed 14 Dec 2016) - 55-year-old Danny Button, of Park City, was arrested on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at approximately 5:30pmCT, following a pursuit on KY 90 that ended in a private drive just off of KY 90 in Cumberland County. Metcalfe County dispatch received a complaint of a suspected drunk driver headed east on KY 90 operating a 1997 Chevy Lumina. A Metcalfe County Deputy attempted to stop the vehicle in Summer Shade, resulting in a pursuit that continued east on KY 90. Troopers assisted in the pursuit and a tire deflation device was deployed in the area of Marrowbone causing damage to all 4 tires of the suspect vehicle. The driver made an attempt to turn around in a private drive, off of KY 90, striking 2 police cars, but was unsuccessful. Button was then removed from the vehicle and arrested without incident. Button was charged with Speeding, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st offense, Reckless Driving, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree, 4 counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st degree - Police Officer, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, 3 counts of Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest.
