Natalie Lawson Burton, 72, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.

Funeral service for Natalie Lawson Burton will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Eld. Larold Gosser officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment in the Salem Cemetery. Special music: Mary & Ben Roy.

She was born October 3, 1944 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late J.C. & Neura Emerson Lawson. She died Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 72 years, two months, and seven days.


Pallbearers: Robbie Jackson, Ronnie Jackson, Larry Roy, Nathan Roy, Clint Hart, and Dave Rings.

She is survived by:
  • Sister: Mona Kay Pettyjohn, Russell Springs, KY

  • Several nieces & nephews
She was a long time clerk at Hopper Drug and was a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Jean Lawson and four brothers; Clyde, Claude, Max, and Phillip Lawson.
