Hazel G. Cash Shofner, Taylor Co., KY (1927-2016) She was a member of the Pitman Creek Baptist Church. She had retired after a 30 year career at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company in Louisville, KY. She was the matriarch of a large, respected Taylor County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late R. T. Cash and Mattie Morris Cash and the widow of Thomas C. Shofner, her husband of over 68 years. She leaves 79 direct and two step living descendants. She was loved by all and will be missed by all. She died Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 14 days. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church. She worked for 30 years at Brown Williamson Tobacco Company. She united in marriage to Thomas C. Shofner in 1942. He preceded her in death December 10, 2010. She is survived by:
