Wilma Boston, Taylor Co., KY native (1942-2016)

She was a charter member of the Mannsville Separate Baptist Church. She had retired from the U.S. Postal Service after a 32 year career. She was the daughter of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox. Her husband of 65 years, Robert Boston, survives. She leaves two direct living descendants.

Wilma Boston of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox, was born November 29, 1942 in Taylor County, KY. She died at 12:25 P.M., Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 74

Funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Junior Holmes and Bro. Don Neat. Burial will be Boston Family Cemetery in Green County, KY. Visitation if 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home

Wilma Boston, daughter of the late Huston Cox and Beechel Tungate Cox, was born November 29, 1942 in Taylor County, KY. She died Thursday, December 1, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 74 years, two days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a charter member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church.

Wilma was devoted to her family and her church.

She retired from the United States Postal Service after twenty-five years of service.

She united in marriage to Robert Boston July 22, 1961.

Besides her husband, Robert Boston of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by:
  • One daughter: Tammy Boston of Campbellsville, KY

  • One grandson: Casey Seaborne of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Harold Dalton Cox and wife, Kathleen and Beverly Sue Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two sisters-in-law: Mary Nell Cox and Marcella Cox of Campbellsville, KY

  • Fourteen nieces and nephews

  • Twenty-seven great-nieces and nephews

  • and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers: David Cox, Donald Cox and Dannie Dale Cox.
