Medical examiner identifies remains through dental records
Human remains identified as Robert Jones

COLUMBIA, KY (Thu 1 Dec 2016) - Human remains found on November 28th in Bath County on US 60 East, off of I-64 at the 123 mile marker, have been identified as 35-year-old Crystal J. Warner.


52-year-old Craig Pennington, of Springfield, KY, was arrested and charged with two counts of Murder on July 8, 2016 in connection to the disappearance of Warner and her 38-year-old boyfriend, Robert K. Jones, whose remains were found off KY Highway 60 and Goshen Road near Winchester, KY on Friday, August 5, 2016. The Medical Examiner's office confirmed the identity through dental records. Pennington remains lodged in the Marion County Jail awaiting trial.

Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
