Burial will be in the Spears Chapel Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 10amCT on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 until the funeral hour. Mrs. Ida Ruth Melton Young, 72, Cumberland Co., KY (1944-2016) She was born in Cumberland County, KY on Monday, August 7, 1944. She was the daughter of John Frank and Ida Litha Winchester Melton. She died Sunday, November 13, 2016, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 72 Years, 3 months and 6 days. She was a Christian, attended Spears Chapel Community Church and a Certified Nursing Assistant formerly at Cumberland Valley Manor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Young; brothers, Ernest Melton, Billy Joe Melton, Franklin Melton, Harve Melton and Baby Melton. She is survived by:
