By Mariah Stearns, Lindsey Wilson College

The Lindsey Wilson College Theatre Program presents John Cariani's LOVE/SICK, at 7pmCT Wed-Thu-Fri,16-18 Nov 2016 and Sun 20 Nov 2016 2pmCT in V.P. Henry Auditorium, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY, on the LWC Phoenix Stage (blackbox).

Sometimes love is messy in this new romantic comedy where a unique cast of characters battle for love.

A darker cousin to Almost, Maine, which LWC Theatre produced in the Spring of 2014, John Cariani's LOVE/SICK is a collection of nine slightly twisted and completely hilarious short plays.

Set on a Friday night in an alternate suburban reality, this 80-minute romp explores the pain and the joy that comes with being in love. Full of imperfect lovers and dreamers, LOVE/SICK is an unromantic comedy for the romantic in everyone.
