MSC Womens's Volleyball Semi-finals - Lindsey Wilson plays Life (GA) at 12pmNoonCT, Friday, November 11, 2016, at South Warren High School, 8140 Nashville Road (campus), Bowling Green, KY By Anthony Latessa News from Lindsey Wilson College BOWLING GREEN, KY - The No. 4-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team opened up the Mid-South Conference Tournament with a three set victory 25-12, 25-16 and 25-14 over Shawnee State (Ohio) on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at South Warren High School. The Blue Raiders (29-1) outhit the Bears (5-25) .287 to .047 in the match. Eileen Acuna led Lindsey Wilson in kills with 10. Lauren Streets had nine kills. Elly Burke finished with eight kills, Grace Blomstedt had seven kills and Carolynne Silva recorded six kills. Caitlyn Tino had a team-high 15 digs and Anna-Lena Elbers had 11 digs. Makenzie Montano recorded a match-high 35 assists. In the first set Lindsey Wilson hit .385 and limited Shawnee State to a -.065 hitting percentage. Burke had five kills in the first set, Acuna and Blomstedt each had three kills. Montano recorded nine assists in the set. Acuna led the way with six kills in the set, Streets had five kills and Silva finished the set with four kills. Montano finished the set with 13 assists and the Blue Raiders finished the set with a .240 hitting percentage.
