Rogers' & Governor's Scholars will speak to Chamber

ACHS Students Lauren McQuaide and Cole Schmidt featured speakers. Jim Lieb, ACHS Employment Specialist will present information on new program at the high school

This month's speakers at the monthly Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce luncheon, at 11:45amCT, Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Anderson's, 1411 Campbellsville Road, Columbia, KY, will be our ACHS Rogers' and Governor's Scholars. Lauren McQuaide, a junior at ACHS, attended the Rogers' Scholar Program this past summer and is the daughter of Dr. Glenn and Mary Ann McQuaide. Cole Schmidt, a senior at ACHS, attended the Governor's Scholar Program this past summer and is the son of Dr. Chris and Rebecca Schmidt. Also Jim Leib, Employment Specialist ACHS, will be giving us more information on The Community Work Transition Program (CWTP) at the High School. CWTP is designed to help our special students gain skills and resources to become Career Ready Workers and how our businesses can become involved.- Ellen Zornes, Chamber President
