KSP Post 15 Activity Report for Oct 2016 Fatalities in Post 15 up from year ago, while statewide fatalities are down Click on headline for complete report By TFC William Gregory, Public Affairs Officer COLUMBIA, KY (1 Nov 2016) - During the month of October 2016, there were 25 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of October in the Post 15 area.
Statewide fatality count stands at 668 compared with 627 through this same period in 2015. During the month of October 2016, there were 700 citations written, 122 courtesy notices written, 1017 vehicles inspected, 573 complaints answered, 55 motorists assisted, 51 criminal cases opened and 106 criminal arrests made.
