Burr Gandy cites Ruth Paull Burdette text to pinpoint hotel

Burr Gandy writes:
In Volume I of "An Adair County Kentucky History," Mike Watson wrote of Thomas Bramlette, "His Columbia home was located on Burkesville Street, on lot number 58 in the original town plan, in what was later the Hancock Hotel..."

A sketch of the original layout of Columbia in Ruth Paull Burdette's "Early Columbia: The Beginnings of a Small Kentucky Town" shows number 58 as the second lot off the Square as one looked toward Market Street (now Burkesville Street) from the courthouse. - Burr Gandy
