ACSO stops theft in progess, apprehends suspect after foot chase 31 one year old lodged in Adair County Regional Jail on $10,000 cash bond facing multiple allegations. Incident occurred on Little Cake Road. Deputy Rainwater assisted on the scene by Sheriff Harrison Moss, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement. Note: An individual charged by police or in a warrant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding. From Adair County Sheriff's Office On Wednesday, October 26, 2016, Adair County Deputy Aaron Rainwater was dispatched to a theft in progress located on Little Cake Road. The owner of the property told Adair County 911 that he had caught a man with a firearm on his property and to send Law Enforcement. Upon arrival, 31 year old Shane Bottoms of Columbia fled on foot into a wooded area. Bottoms was apprehended a few minutes later and arrested on charges of -
