Geocaching 29-30 Oct 2016 at Barren River Lake State Park Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By David Kem News from Barren River State Park LUCAS, KY - (Mon 24 Oct 2016) - Geocaching Weekend at Barren River Lake, 1149 State Park Road, Lucas, KY, is scheduled for Saturday & Sunday, October 29 & 30, 2016, with registration both days 8am-9amCT. Visitors are invited to join the staff at Barren River Lake State Resort Park in a high-tech treasure hunt using hand-held GPS devices. Special caches that are suitable for all levels and types of "cachers" will be hidden throughout the park. The weekend will also feature a chili supper and a haunted night cache on Saturday evening. Registration is $10/adult and $5/child age 12 and under. Registration includes all geocaching events, door prizes, and covers all dates. Pre-registration is not required.
