Tabatha Furkin 39, of Columbia, KY passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 5:57pmET at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY, after a short illness.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Randy Parnell the officiating clergy. Interment in Harvey Cemetery, Sparksville, KY. The family request visiting after 3:30pmCT on Monday, October 24, 2016, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

She was born October 21, 1977 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Darrell Furkin and Peggy Loy Furkin, who survives. She died Saturday, October 22, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 39 years, one day.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Darren Furkin in 2013

She is survived by her mother: Peggy Loy Furkin of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • Special aunts: LuAnne Janes of Columbia, KY; and Edith Furkin Ogle of Columbia, KY

  • Several aunts and uncles: Raymond and Brenda Loy, Harold and Dorothy Loy, Freddy Loy, and Betty Murphy all of Columbia, KY

  • Cousins: Steven Furkin and Brad & Jennifer West of Columbia, KY

  • TR friends: Patty Dial and Connie Coyle of Columbia, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
