Dorothy Mae Butt, Metcalfe Co., KY (1925-2016) She enjoyed gardening and making beautiful quilts. She retired from Wright's IGA of Union City, Indiana where she was a delicatessen. She was a native of Edmonton, KY, and a resident of Columbus, IN at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Icy Hurt Fields and the widow of Robert Butt. She was the matriarch of a great family, numbering 69 direct living descendants. Her final resting place will be in Metcalfe County. The funeral service will be conducted at 1pmCT, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with Pastor Glenn Poynter officiating. Visitation will be from 11amCT until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fields Cemetery. She died Friday, October 21, 2016, in Columbus, Bartholomew County, IN, at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and four days. Dorothy enjoyed gardening and making beautiful quilts. She retired from Wright's IGA of Union City, Indiana where she was a delicatessen. Survivors include:
