Mary Dimple Smith, 92, Coburg, Adair County, Kentucky, native (1924-2016) She was the matriarch of a great family, numbering 29 direct living descendants, and spanning four generations. She was the daughter of the late Robert O. and Mary Etta Feese Sullivan, and the widow of Edwin P. Smith. She worked as an accounting clerk and receptionist and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon, IN. Her final resting place, Cane Valley Cemetery, Adair County, KY.will be just a few miles south of the place of her birth. There will be a graveside service at 1:30pmCT, Tuesday at Cane Valley Cemetery, 135 Cane Valley Cemetery Road, Cane Valley, KY. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Monday, October 24, 2016 and after 8amCT/9amET, Tuesday at the Beanblossom-Cesar funeral home. She died Friday, October 21, 2016, in Corydon, Harrison County, IN, at the age of 92 years, She worked as an accounting clerk and receptionist and was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin P. Smith; her daughter, Jacquelyn Thomas; and her brothers, W.G. and David Owen Sullivan.
