Adair ABC License Update: What's holding up package stores

Deputy ABC Administrator answers questions being asked about the delay in Adair getting package store licenses

By Shannon Sexton, Adair Co. Deputy ABC Administrator

I've received numerous calls in regards to when package stores may be open. The Quota Package process takes a bit longer than the Non-Quota malt beverage license due to much more information being required.

It is my understanding that applicants were mailed "Economic Letters" last week and they have until October 28, 2016, to complete those and submit them to Kentucky ABC. Once submitted, the Kentucky ABC administrators will review and issue license once approved. I'll keep everyone posted as more information becomes available. Thank you, - Shannon
