Joyce Coomer says thank you to our healthcare community

By Linda Waggener

Joyce Coomer, Printing Creations, asked that we share this message of a heartfelt thank you to the entire healthcare team at the TJ Health/Columbia emergency room, to the helicopter crew and to Dr. Max Downey, who all helped her Sunday afternoon and evening after a severe vision event. She said she couldn't believe how nice and efficient everyone was with her (a not too cooperative patient) and she is very grateful.

She said she has undergone many tests with more results to come, both in Adair County and at UofL.

Joyce, an artist, writer and graphic designer, is thankfully able to be at work but has to have help reading fine print for now, including email, so call her on the phone or stop by the shop at 110 N Monroe Street in Columbia to see her, Greg and good friend Loretta Martin who is coming to help out.

New hours are: Monday to Thursday, 9 to 4pmCT and Friday, 9 to 2pmCT.
