By Ellen Zornes

While the finishing touches are being put on the 50th, yes 50th, registered Squarecrow, it is time this Friday and Saturday during Downtown Days to vote for your favorite Squarecrow. Just stop by the Retired Teachers' Booth in front of First and Farmers National Bank, 224 Public Square, Columbia, KY, to cast your vote (one vote per person for the two day festival). Remember the Squarecrows are all around the square and in front of businesses on streets leading off the square as well as in the Columbia Baptist Church vacant lot where Mrs. Alta Garnett's house stood. We can't wait to see the People's Choice Award! See you on the square! - Ellen Zornes
