Lisa Renee Cowan, 47, Adair County, KY (1969-2016)

She attended the Egypt Christian Church and was a child care provider. She was a native of Jefferson County, KY, and was resident of Adair County, KY at the time of her death. She was a member of a large, highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Norville Ray Fair & Annette Burton, who survives, as does her husband, Tim Cowan of Columbia, KY. She leaves 10 direct and two step living descendants.

Lisa Renee Cowan age 47 years of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at 5:02pmCT, at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Herbert Janes, the officiating clergy. Interment will in Bearwallow Cemetery, 6080 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Monday, September 26, 2016.

She was born on January 5, 1969 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Norville Ray Fair & Annette Burton of Columbia, KY, who survives. She died Friday, September 23, 2016, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 47 years, eight months, and 18 days.

Besides her mother she is survived by:
  • Her husband: Tim Cowan of Columbia, KY

  • Three daughters: Tiffany Corbin of Columbia, KY; Kayla Corbin of Columbia, KY; and Karli Morgan Cowan of Columbia, KY

  • Two step-sons: Jacob Cowan and Blake Cowan, both of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Debra Corbin of Columbia, KY

  • Two brothers: Kevin Corbin, Ripley, TN; and Randy Corbin, Columbia, KY

  • Father-in-law & mother-in-law: Eugene & Carol Polston Cowan of Columbia, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Several nieces snf nephews

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death a stillborn child, Brooklyn Ray Fair

Lisa attended the Egypt Christian Church and was a child care provider

The family has requested that expression of sympathy to take the form of a donation to help pay funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home
