Rachael A. McKinney, 98, of Russell Springs, KY passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the Fair Oaks Health Systems in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral Services for Rachael A, McKinney will be at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 1pmCT, with Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating. Friends may visit after 11amCT at the funeral home until time of funeral. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery in Russell Springs, KY.



Rachael A. McKinney, 98, Russell Springs, KY (1918-2016)


Rachael was born in Adair County, KY, on August 13, 1918, a daughter of the late Verney (Hadley) and Sam Franklin. She died Monday, September 19, 2015, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 98 years, one month, and six days.

Rachael is survived by:
  • Two brothers in law Pete (Geraldine) McKinney, of Jamestown, KY
  • James Max McKinney, of Shepherdsville, KY
  • Caregivers and nieces Sharon Tucker and Michelle Roy as well as other nieces and nephews.
Rachael is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carsie M. McKinney and four sisters, Anne Cassine, Lizzie Kate, Nancie Lea, and Ruth Mae Franklin.
