Voters decide today if City Of Campbellsville goes fully wet

The election will be closely followed throughout the day today by Radio Station FM 99.9 the BIG DAWG and sister station FM 92.7 the WAVE, and ColumbiaMagazine.com - LARRY SMITH.

Voters will go vote today, Tuesday, September 20, 2016, in an election to decide whether the City of Campbellsville will go fully Wet or Not. The only question on the ballot today is:
"Are you in favor of alcohol sales in the City of Campbellsville?"
But only voters who actually live within the limits of Campbellsville will be allowed to vote. The polls are open 6am-6pmET in the following locations: The vote will take place at 11 of 20 Taylor County polls in which City Voters normally vote.


  • New North - Community Center, Hwy 3183
  • East - Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, 420 Lowell Avenue
  • New East - First Baptist Church, 704 E Broadway
  • New City East - - Lowell Avenue Baptist Church, 420 Lowell Avenue
  • Old South - South Campbellsville Baptist Church, 601 S Central Avenue
  • New South - Taylor County Extension Office, 1143 S Columbia Avenue
  • New West - - Fire Department, 100 Terri Street
  • New City West - Woodlawn Christian Church, 831 W. Main Street
  • Old West - Fire Department, 100 Terri Street
  • Old City North - Kid Wise Amusement Building, 195 City Park Road
  • New City North - Fine Arts Building, University Drive
We'll be bringing you the election returns as soon as the polls close. The clerk's office will have the absentee votes tallied and will release them just after 6pmET.

Barring unforeseen problems, the tally will be complete in approximately an hour after polls close.
