35th Annual Metcalfe Pumpkin Festival Sep 29-Oct 1, 2016

Festival kicks of with 5K race on Thu 29 Sep 2016 at 6pmCT. Sat 1 Oct 2016 with include Arts & Crafts sales, Children's contests, Williard Odle Car Show, Pumpkin Baking Contest, Spooky Science Show at library, Metcalfe County Jail will be open for tours, and Metcalfe County Homemakers will hold Cakewalk

The 35th Annual Metcalfe County Pumpkin Festival will begin with 5K to be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 6pmCT. Registration begins at 5pmCT. The race begins at Edmonton Memorial Park, 205 Randolph Street, Edmonton, KY 42129 at 6pmCT.

New for the event on Saturday, October 1, 2016, will be children's amusement rides provided by Fox Creek Amusement Company. The rides are new and will be carefully set up on East Stockton Street in front of the Chamber Office, 109 E Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY.



Another new event will be a dunking booth manned by some of Edmonton's finest.

Arts & Craft Vendors as well as great festival food vendors will set up at 6amCT. in the Historic Metcalfe County court yard, 100 E Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY.

The Children's Costume Contest, The Biggest Pumpkin, and Carved and Decorated Pumpkin Contests will be held at 9amCT.

The Willard Odle Memorial Car Show will be held at Metcalfe County Fairgrounds, 102 Fairground Street, Edmonton, KY at 11:30amCT. The Historic Car Parade will be 3pm-3:15pmCT. A shuttle bus will travel to and from the fairgrounds to the square .

A Pumpkin Baking Contest, 9:30am-11amCT, with CASH prizes will be held in the Chamber Office, 109 E Stockton. There are Youth and Adult Divisions.

The Metcalfe County Historical Jail, North End of East Street - 101 East Street, Edmonton, KY, will be open for tours from 10am to 2pmCT.

A karaoke contest will held 12pmNoon-3pmCT with award Cash prizes.

Metcalfe County Public Library, 200 S Main Street, will conduct a fantastic "Spooky Science" program at the library at 10:30amCT.

The Metcalfe County Homemakers will have their annual cakewalk at 11amCT in front of Metcalfe Drugs, Stockton Street, Edmonton, KY.

The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce will conduct a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Wall Works, 102 S Main Street, Edmonton, KY at 11amCT during the festival! New Owner Anne Devore Birge invites everyone to attend.
