Metcalfe County, KY injury collision and arrest

EDMONTON, KY (16 Sep 2016) - Tpr. Clint Bale is investigating a collision that occurred Thursday, September 15, 2016 at approximately 10:35CT on US 68 at the 14 mile marker in Metcalfe County. 25-year-old Amy Vaughn, of Sulphur Well, KY, was operating a westbound 2004 Ford when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a stump and overturned.



Vaughn and a passenger, 10-year-old Dakota Morris, of Edmonton, KY were transported to TJ Samson Hospital for treatment. Another passenger, 46-year-old Paul Morris, of Edmonton, was also injured and air lifted to Vanderbilt University Hospital.

Amy Vaughn was arrested today at TJ Samson Hospital at 1:42amCT and charged with DUI 1st offense. She was lodged in the Barren County Jail.
