Glendon Gerald Perry, 67, Louisville, KY (1949-2016)

He was the son of the late Glenn "Pete" Perry and Alzoria Hiser Martin. Glendon was retired from the Army Corp of Engineers and was a Vietnam Army Veteran.

Glendon Gerald Perry, 67, of Louisville passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Todd Dickey Nursing and Rehab Center in Leavenworth, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 5:30pmCT until 8pmCT on Friday and after 9amCT on Saturday at Butler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1pmCT on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East St., Edmonton, KY with burial in the Bowles Cemetery at Center.


He was the son of the late Glenn "Pete" Perry and Alzoria Hiser Martin. Glendon was retired from the Army Corp of Engineers and was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by:
  • Three sons: Douglas Perry of Huntsville, Alabama, Troy (Amy) Perry of Madison, Alabama, and Charles Perry of Orlando, Florida
  • Two brothers: Donnie and Jason Perry, both of Center, Kentucky
  • Two sisters: Bobbi Lindsey of Louisville, and Teresa King of Summer Shade, Kentucky
  • Three grandchildren: Ashton Perry, Charlie Perry and Payton Lea Perry, all of Huntsville, Alabama
  • He is also survived by Rita Gay Hall, the mother of his children
