LWC Volleyball jumps to No. 2 in Top 25 poll By Matthew Wurzburger News from Lindsey Wilson Athletics COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team ranks second in the most-recent Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced Tuesday. The Blue Raiders (9-0) jumped one spot after opening the season ranked third in the nation. Midland (NE) tops the poll with 580 total points and 11 first-place votes. Lindsey Wilson earned 570 total voting points and nine of the 10 remaining first-place votes. Lindsey Wilson has won eight of its nine matches this season in straight sets, including seven straight. Westmont (CA), Hastings (NE) and Viterbo (WI) round out the top-five. Fellow Mid-South Conference member Georgetown (KY) dropped three spots into 10th place in the current poll.
