Arlin Edwards, 77, of Greensburg, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 9:35amCT, at his home.

Arlin chose cremation and requested no visitation or funeral.

Arlin Edwards, 77, Green Co./Adair native, KY (1938-2016)

He was born September 24, 1938, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Willie and Pearl Rogers Edwards. He died Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 11 months, and 10 days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Delois Ann "Annie" Edwards.

Survivors include:

  • His wife: Gelois Wheeler Edwards of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sons: Arlin Ray Edwards of Edmonton, Bobby Edwards of Greensburg, KY

  • Four daughters: Peggy Thompson of Greensburg, Buffy Jessie of Edmonton, Carolyn Whitlow of Hardyville, Donna Purvis of Hart County, KY

  • One brother: Lucian Edwards of Columbia, KY

  • One half-brother: Terry Edwards of Louisville, KY

  • Twenty grandchildren

  • Thirty-two great-grandchildren

  • A special sister-in-law and her family: Dottie, William and Steven Corbin of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Brenda McKinneyKY

  • And other relatives and friends
