Jim Young, 73, Casey Co., KY (1943-2016) Jim Young passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at his home in Casey County, KY. He was 73 years old. Visitation is Friday from 5pmET-8pmET at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St., Liberty, KY. Graveside services will be held at 11amET on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Cookeville Cemetery in Tennessee. Burial will follow service. Born March 30, 1943 in Smith County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Carson Young and Alva Lancaster Young. He was an engineer for British Petroleum and a farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Jim graduated from Gordonsville High School in Tennessee; he had a Bachelors of Science from Tennessee Tech, and a Masters in Business from Syracuse University. Jim was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He loved working on his ranch with his horses and cattle. Jim was a generous friend and active in the community. He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed. Survivors include
