By Calen McKinney Campbellsville High School football team battled Louisville Holy Cross in the annual Forcht Bank Bowl on Friday, Aug. 26, at Campbellsville University. The CHS team came up short, losing by a score of 13-21. CHS junior Devonte Cubit was named the player of the game and received a plaque from the National Guard, which also sponsored the bowl games. Dale Estes is the CHS head football coach. Assistants are Blake Milby, Herb Wiseman, Tyler Hardy, Robbie Gribbins, Jeffrey Demary, Bronson Gowdy, Will Griffin and Aaron Webb.
