Early Release Fridays in Adair Schools starts Fri 2 Sep 2016

By Wes Feese, Media Relations
Adair County School District

Students in the Adair County School system will be let out early every Friday, at 1pmCT, starting next week, Friday, 2 Sep 2016, and continuing through Friday, 28 Apr 2017.

Early release Fridays provide teachers - who will stay at school until 3pmCT -with an opportunity to plan, work on their curriculum, collaborate with other teachers, and implement new educational strategies based on data. Students may stay at school if they wish, but bus transportation will not be provided after 1pmCT

"If students are having difficulty in a subject or just need to catch up on some work, they can stay and use that time if they want to or if their parents want them to," Director of Pupil Personnel Robbie Harmon says. "Parents in that situation should contact their student's school for more details."
