Vircena Hadley, 92, of Russell Springs, died Wednesday August 24, 2016 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home.

Funeral Service for Vircena Hadley will be 1pmCT, Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 North Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Billy Silverman and Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Visitation after 6pmCT on Saturday and 9amCT on Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Parks Ridge Cemetery.


She was born June 24, 1924 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Urias and Ora Stephens. She died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 92 years, two months.

She was a homemaker and attended Parks Ridge Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hadley; a brother, Urias "Deedle" Stephens, Jr. and a sister, Geneva "Toot" Shearer

Survivors include
  • Three daughters: Linda (Arvis) Stapp, Russell Springs Glenna (Danny) Luttrell, Russell Springs Twana Hadley, Jamestown
  • Four grandchildren: Angela Bolin, Shane Stapp, Kristi Rogers, Amber Snow
  • Six great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Bolin, Madison Rogers, Kassidy Bolin Natalie Rogers, Blake Bolin, Autumn Stapp
  • One sister: Janis Helm, Russell Springs
  • Four brothers: Teddy Stephens, Bobby Stephens, Dale Stephens, all of RS. John "Dude" Stephens, Casey County
