Arts n' Barks in the Park coming to Gen. Butler State Resort Park

CARROLLTON, KY (22 Aug 2016) - General Butler State Resort Park, 1608 Kentucky 227, Carrollton, KY 41008 will host Arts n' Barks on 9am-4pmCT/10am-5pmCT, Saturday, September 3, 2016, This free event combines two events that had been held previously at the park, the Goldenrod Gala Crafts Festival and Woofstock.



The day will feature four-legged entertainment with Ultimate Flying Canines and Miller's Border Collies. There will be contests for dogs, dog-related vendors and adoption groups. There will be a blessing of the animals ceremony at noon.

The park is working in partnership with the Carroll County Animal Support Organization in Carrollton. Most proceeds go to CCAS.

Musical entertainment, handcraft vendors and food concessions will also be featured.

General Butler State Resort Park is steeped in military history with a unique setting at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio rivers. General Butler State Resort Park, just off Interstate 71 at Carrollton, has a lodge, Two Rivers Restaurant, cottages, campground, gift shop and golf course. Phone: 1-866-462-8853.
