Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer held the official drawing for ballot position numbers in her office at 2pmCT, Thursday, August 11, 2016, with the following results:.

  1. Ronald Rogers
  2. Pam Hoots
  3. Linda Waggener
  4. Craig Dean
  5. Tommy Steele
  6. Craig Lasley
  7. Mark Harris
  8. John Ford


Division 2
  1. Quinn Lasley
  2. Daniel Adams
Division 4
  1. Floyd Burton
  2. Jonathan Amos Gaskins
Division 5
  1. Mike Harris (unopposed, no drawing)


No Soil Conservation on ballot, four signed up, the exact number of open seats. All those filing for the seats were incumbents. They are Larry Burton, James Bennett, Judith Goodin, and Brent Baker. Clerk Greer said that if there had been three or less or five or more, a drawing would have been necessary and the names would have been on the ballot.
