BOWLING GREEN, KY (9 Aug 2016) – Bridge work taking place on Interstate 65 overnight tonight, Wednesday and Thursday will cause some delay to motorists traveling near mile marker 30 in Warren County. Crews are setting bridge beams for the new I-65 interchange which is part of the new I-65 to U.S. 31-W connector project currently being constructed in the northern part of Warren County. The bridge work is taking place from 8pm to approximately 2amCT, all three nights.

The northbound side is being done tonight with the southbound side expected to be done Wednesday and Thursday. Rolling roadblocks will be setup about every 20 minutes during the work hours in the direction the bridge is being worked on only. This will cause short delays for folks traveling in the area. All work is weather permitting and it is possible work could be delayed. District 3 Twitter account is at KYTCDISTRICT3 and our Facebook account is KYTCDISTRICT3.
