Campbellsville Independent Schools begin 2016-17 school year CIS School Year: 8 Aug 2016 to 18 May 2017 By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Independent Schools' students began the 2016-2017 school year on Monday, August 8, 2016. Students at Campbellsville elementary, middle and high school headed back to class at 8amET and were greeted by their teachers. Kindergarten students spent the morning learning classroom rules and the proper way to walk in the hallways. They also spent time coloring and reading stories. At Campbellsville Middle School, fourth-graders were given a tour of their new school. And at Campbellsville High School, students spent the day doing classwork to help them become college and career ready. The 2016-2017 school year is set to end on May 18.
