Mrs. Willie Lee Truelock, 91, Taylor Co., KY (1924-2016)

She was a retired office and retail sales employee and a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a native of Newton, TX and a resident of Campbellsville, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Ira Braneff and Gracie May Coleman Braneff, and the widow of Willie Creed Truelock, her husband of over 53 years. She leaves 17 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Willie Lee Truelock of Campbellsville, KY, died at 2:15amET, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Campbellsville.

There will be a funeral service at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, August 5, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Mike O'Neal. A graveside service will be at 2:30pmCT/3:30pmET, at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky by Dr. Glen Armstrong. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Willie Lee Truelock of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late Ira Braneff and Gracie May Coleman Braneff. She was born September 18, 1924, in Newton County, Texas. She died Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 91 years, nine months, and 15 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was a retired office and retail sales employee.

She united in marriage to Willie Creed Truelock October 17, 1942. He preceded her in death March 29, 1994.

She is survived by:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Sherry and Neil Moseley of Campbellsville, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Tara Turner Fogle and husband, David of Georgetown, KY; Jarod Moseley and wife, Tracy of Burlington, KY; Jason Moseley and wife, Michelle of Lexington, KY; and Craig Moseley and wife, Danett of Walton, KY

  • Ten great-grandchildren: Joshua Fogle and wife, Jordan, Jacob Fogle, Lindsey Fogle, Curtis Moseley, Shelby Moseley, Riley Moseley, Aaron Moseley, Jenna Moseley, Rylan Moseley and Aubrey Moseley

  • Two great-great-grandchildren: Jerzie Fogle and Joleen Fogle

  • Three brothers and two sisters: Henderson Braneff and wife, Mary Ellen, Estil Braneff and wife, Mary and Jean Evelyn Gould of Vidor, TX; Robert Braneff and wife, Lavera of De Quincy, LA; and Maggie Bloomfield of Buna, TX

  • Two sisters-in-law: Melba Braneff of Huntsville, TX; and Lou Braneff of De Quincy, LA

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gerri Turner Leucht April 2, 1989 and two brothers and one sister: Thomas Braneff, Charles Braneff and Ellen Gilmore.
