CIS receives $17,000 in Crusade for Children funding The money will be used to purchase equipment to help students with speech language and literacy and social emotional curriculums. Click on headline for complete story with photo(s) By Calen McKinney Campbellsville Independent Schools recently received $17,000 in funding from the annual Crusade for Children fundraising drive. Campbellsville and Taylor County Fire and Rescue personnel collect money each year through the Crusade for Children campaign to benefit children in local schools. At Campbellsville Independent Schools, the money will be used to purchase equipment to help students with speech language and literacy and social emotional curriculums.
