Visitation is from 9amCT/10amET until the service begins on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Old Liberty Cemetery. He was the son of the late Henry T. Garrett and Mattie Tungate Garrett. He was born April 4, 1926 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died Monday, July 11, 2016, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 90 years, tbree months and seven days. He was baptized in the Methodist faith when living in Louisville. He was a retired farmer, factory employee and postal service employee.
