Adair County VFD answers fire call in the Millerfields By Donald Hare, Public Information Officer Adair County Fire Department The Adair County Fire Department responded to a truck fire on Monday morning. The alarm time was 7:52amCT, firefighters responded to 792 Millerfield Road to Giles Country Store to find a Ford Pickup owned by Hollis Kernes was totally engulfed in flames. The vehicle had been pushed away from the gas pumps prior to fire department arrival. The fire was contained and vehicle a total loss. Eleven firemen responded and were on the scene for 45 minutes.
