KSP Post 15 Activity for June, 2016 By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Information Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY (5 Jul 2016) - During the month of June 2016, there were 21 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of June in the Post 15 area:
Statewide fatality count stands at 278 compared with 267 through this same period in 2015. During the month of June 2016, there were 992 citations written, 138 courtesy notices written, 1853 vehicles inspected, 683 complaints answered, 96 motorists assisted, 41 criminal cases opened and 152 criminal arrests made.
