Drives 20 miles to Knifley to buy 4 months supply of Heineken

Trek from Gadberry to Knifley to lay claim to bragging rights, to be forever known for being the first person in the universe to buy legal Heineken Beer in (out in; not claiming for townie title) Adair County, KY

I'll bet I bought the first legal Heineken Beer in Adair County, KY! Didn't want it, didn't need it, but I bought it because I could! Drove to Knifley to make the purchase and met some good folks. The six pack should last me until Thanksgiving unless I boil some more shrimp! - Name withheld to protect Charles Marshburn

Congratulations. Were good Mayor Coy Downey living and in office, he would surely recognized your extraordinary feat as worthy of being in the "World Record Book of Guinesses." One has to applaud the prudent purchase, the almost responsible use of alcoholic beverages, but would have to wonder about the waste of perfectly good beer on shrimp. - CM
